Laperla is planted in the white sprouts stage for best results. Use physiologically young seed potatoes. Tuber treatment against rhizoctonia improves tuber size regularity. Laperla is sensitive to Metribuzin and has a slow leaf development, but tuberization starts early.
Start on time with preventive treatment against alternaria. Haulm killing does not cause any problems. Laperla has an early maturity and has a slow skinset. Therefore wait until good skinset before harvesting.
Be careful with mother tubers and avoid damage during harvest. Drying Laperla tubers is important for good skin quality. Cool down the product gradually.
