Lanorma
Medium early variety
Very suitable for baker market
Good skin finish, also after long storage
Resistant to nematode Ro1 and wart disease 1
Potato variety Lanorma
Lanorma is a medium early table variety. The round-oval tubers have light yellow flesh and skin color. Lanorma keeps its bright skin color even after long-term storage. The table variety is sold to various consumer markets and is resistant to nematode Ro1 and wart 1. Lanorma is an excellent potato for the baker market.

The planting distance for Lanorma size 28/35 is 24 to 26 centimeters. For size 35/50 this is 29 to 31 centimeters. We also recommend this planting distance for 50/60 cut seed potatoes. Always count the tubers and keep in mind that heavier soils require a closer planting distance.
Lanorma is suitable for all soil types. A good soil structure is required to get a regular tuber shape. Planting in the white sprouts stage gives the best results. The table variety is light sensitive to Metribuzin. Only apply weed control with Metribuzin at a low dose and before the emergence of the plants.
At 80% emergence you start to spray Lanorma against late blight. A second N fertilizer application is given during tuberization. You start irrigating when necessary and start spraying against tuber blight in time.
Be careful with mother tubers and avoid damage during harvesting. Wait until the skin has set before harvesting. Lanorma is sensitive to Fusarium. After harvesting, ensure good ventilation during storage until the potatoes are dry. During long-term storage, regularly ventilate Lanorma and cool down gradually.
