Potato variety Forza
Forza is an early French fries and consumption variety with an early tuber setting. The yellow-skinned tubers have shallow eyes, are long-oval and have yellow flesh. The potato variety is very suitable for French fries, but also has good consumption qualities. Forza is resistant to potato cyst nematodes (PCN) A (9), D (8) and E (7) and is easy to store.

The planting distance for size 28/35 is 25 to 27 centimeters. For size 35/50, a distance of 32 to 34 centimeters is adviced. We also recommend this planting distance for 50/60 cut potatoes. Always count the tubers and keep in mind that heavier soils require a closer planting distance. Don’t plant Forza when the soil is too cold.
Start irrigation in time. Forza has plenty of foliage. Under normal circumstances, a second fertilizer application is not necessary. We recommend to spray in time and preventively against Alternaria and tuber blight. Provide a healthy crop.
Remove mother tubers and prevent damage during harvest. After harvest, ensure that the potato dries quickly and that it has good ventilation during storage. During long-term storage it is good to ventilate regularly and keep temperature on a constant level (cool down to 6-7°C). Before transport, gradually warm up to 15°C.
